Michele Carey, the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr who was a physician as well as Thelma Henson, the housewife, was born Michele Lee Henson on February 26th, 1942in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. In her teens she had a great talent at playing piano and won a national competition at the Chicago Music Festival when she was only 13 years old. When she moved to Fort Collins, Colorado she settled with her family. She attended the schooling at Fort Collins High School and completed her studies in the year 1960.
