Yael Stone
Stone was born in Sydney and was raised in Sydney. She studied at The Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) as well as the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Her acting journey began as a kid, when she played in Me Myself I. and The Farm. She primarily focused on theatre. She was named the title of Best Newcomer during the Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and the title of Best Supporting actress in The Kid. Television work featured supporting roles on All Saints, Spirited and other shows. In 2010, she appeared on stage in The Diary of a Madman. This role earned her a second nomination to the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting actor. The Diary of a Madman was a production of The Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. In March 2011 she returned to Sydney to take on the principal roles in A Golem Story (a story about the life of a golem), Summer of the Seventeenth Doll and As You Like It.
